The WWDC 2010 keynote was this morning, and the main focus of the keynote was the iPhone. Here is a list of some of the features of iPhone 4:
-Same design as the one Gizmodo showed us, glass front and back with a stainless steel frame. The frame is also used as an antenna. It’s 24% thinner than the 3G and 3GS
-Retina display with 326ppi. 300ppi is the limit of the human eye so apparently it’s very sharp. It has a 960×640 resolution.
-Powered by the A4 chip.
-Gyroscope, along with the accelerometer so it now has 6 axis motion sensing.
-New 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, records 720p HD video at 30fps. You can also get iMovie for $5 from the App Store.
-5X digital zoom and tap to focus.
-Front facing camera for “FaceTime” video calling. You can easily switch between the front and rear cameras.
-Comes in black or white.
-16GB or 32GB capacities.
In my opinion, this is the best update to the iPhone yet. I wasn’t going to buy another iPod touch after my current one because I’m bored with it, but if they give it the new design and video calling, I might change my mind.
