Apple released the 10.6.4 update today. Go ahead and update your hackintosh, it went fine for me. Be sure to remove SleepEnabler.kext before installing because you’ll get a kernel panic, and it’ll be a pain to fix. I couldn’t get into single user mode to delete it, I had to use MacDrive to delete the kext. If you deleted the kext file before restarting, it should be fine. Be patient though, the first boot took forever for me.
[UPDATE] You can get SleepEnabler.kext for 10.6.4 here.
Hi
What time do you think we can expect a sleep kext that will work on 10.6.4?
I have not found any update that work or have I missed something.
I have a 30GB Vertex SSD as boot and I just took the drive out and put it into the dock on my Mac Pro and removed the kext by deleting it
Rebooted and everything is fine…..but sleep does not work anymore!
PS: my Hackintosh is running as a server with 8 drives ( 1.5TB ) in raid 5 with a Highpoint Rocket Raid card since November 2009 with no problem and it still does but with no sleep that works.

I’m not really sure when they will release a new one, hopefully soon. I’ve been checking kexts.com daily, I’ll post here when it’s released.
